A re-encounter with a fascinating composition in concert, with some excellent soloists (Rachel Harnisch, Judith Schmid, Vsevolod Grivnov, and Klaus Mertens), the Zürcher Konzertchor and the ZKO — followed by a late re-encounter with a legendary recording featuring Kari Lövaas, Brigitte Fassbaender, Peter Schreier, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, the Münchner Vokalsolisten, and Wolfgang Sawallisch conducting and accompanying (…)
